A Refreshing Citrus Mint Spritzer

Today, I’m sharing a recipe for a refreshing citrus mint spritzer that’s perfect for a hot summer day. This fizzy and flavorful drink is a great way to stay hydrated and cool down while enjoying the bright, tangy flavors of citrus and the refreshing aroma of mint.

Ingredients:

  • fresh mint leaves (15g)
  • fresh lemon juice (30ml)
  • fresh lime juice (30ml)
  • honey (15g)
  • sparkling water (300ml)
  • ice cubes

Kitchen Tools:

  • citrus juicer
  • muddler
  • pitcher
  • glasses

To start, muddle the fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a pitcher to release their fragrant oils. Add in the fresh lemon juice, lime juice, and honey, then stir well to combine. Top off the mixture with sparkling water and give it a gentle stir to mix everything together.

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the citrus mint mixture over the ice. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of lemon or lime for a beautiful presentation.

This citrus mint spritzer weighs approximately 390g in total, yields 2 servings, with an average weight of 195g per serving. Each serving contains approximately 50 calories.

One unique tip for this recipe is to freeze some mint leaves in ice cube trays and use them to chill the spritzer without diluting it. This adds a subtle minty flavor and keeps your drink cold without watering it down.

I encourage you to give this citrus mint spritzer a try and feel free to customize it with your favorite citrus fruits or herbs. Enjoy this delightful beverage on a sunny day and let the flavors transport you to a tropical paradise. Cheers!
