Unique Purple Cauliflower Burrata Recipe

Today, I’m excited to share a brand new recipe that I’ve been experimenting with in my kitchen. This dish is perfect for those cozy evenings when you want something warm and comforting to enjoy. The combination of flavors and textures in this dish is truly unique and will surely surprise your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • purple cauliflower (300g)
  • burrata cheese (200g)
  • pomegranate seeds (50g)
  • hazelnuts (50g)
  • honey (30ml)
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • skillet
  • knife

Preparation:

To start, preheat your oven to 200°C. Cut the purple cauliflower into florets and spread them out on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly caramelized.

While the cauliflower is roasting, toast the hazelnuts in a skillet over medium heat until they are fragrant and golden brown. Remove from the heat and roughly chop them.

Assembly:

Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a serving platter. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and scatter it over the cauliflower. Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds and toasted hazelnuts on top. Drizzle with honey and a bit more olive oil for extra richness.

Tips:

For an extra burst of flavor, you can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the dish before serving. This will brighten up the flavors and make the dish even more vibrant.

Serving:

This dish serves 4 people and each serving weighs approximately 200g. This unique combination of ingredients creates a dish that is both hearty and light at the same time. The approximate calorie count per serving is around 250 calories.
