Today’s Winter Recipe: Tangy Orange Glazed Pork Chops

Growing up, winter always meant cozy family dinners featuring hearty dishes that warmed us from the inside out. Today, I’m excited to share with you my latest creation: Tangy Orange Glazed Pork Chops. This dish is a delightful blend of savory and sweet flavors that will surely become a winter favorite at your table.

Ingredients:

  • pork chops
  • oranges
  • honey
  • garlic
  • soy sauce
  • fresh ginger
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Kitchen Tools:

  • skillet
  • whisk
  • meat thermometer
  • garlic press

To start, season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chops until they are golden brown on both sides, then set aside.

In the same skillet, add olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook for a minute until fragrant, then pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice, honey, and soy sauce. Allow the mixture to simmer and thicken for about 5 minutes.

Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them with the tangy orange glaze. Continue to cook until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) using a meat thermometer.

Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the chops for an extra burst of flavor.
