Today, I’m excited to share a recipe that combines the richness of duck with a fresh and zesty taco twist. This dish is perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a family gathering where you want to impress with something unique and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1 duck breast (approximately 300g)
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 100g shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 corn tortillas

Start by preheating your grill to medium-high heat. Season the duck breast with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Grill the duck breast for about 6-7 minutes per side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.

While the duck is grilling, mix the shredded cabbage with lime juice in a small bowl. This will add a fresh and tangy crunch to your taco.

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side. Assemble your tacos by layering sliced duck, cabbage slaw, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro on top of each tortilla.
